Bernice Gase

CLYDE -- Bernice Gase, 88, formerly of Clyde and a resident for the past 10 years of Avon Park, Fla., died on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, at Florida Hospital of Heartland Division.

She was born Dec. 22, 1919, in Clyde, to Fred and Mabel (Garvin) Burkin. She married Harold Gase on Jan. 8, 1949; he preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 1998.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Oct. 9, 4-8 p.m. at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde.

The funeral will be on Friday, Oct. 10, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 609 Vine St., Clyde. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
