EHOVE gave writer tools to succeed

To the editor:

As a graduate of EHOVE Career Center's Engineering Industrial Technology program, I would like to urge everyone to vote in support of EHOVE's .5 mil renewal levy on Nov. 4.

EHOVE's Tech Prep programs allow high school students to earn high school and free college credits simultaneously -- and prepare for a career with practical, hands-on experience. I was enrolled in both high school and college courses at BGSU-Firelands. Today, I am pursuing a college degree in electro-mechanical engineering. None of this would have happened had it not been for my involvement in Tech Prep.

EHOVE's Tech Prep also offers career training in computer software, computer hardware, medical fields and legal fields. All Tech Prep programs also allow the opportunity to earn free college credits at an accredited university. It is money well spent in the community.

Please vote yes on the EHOVE .5 mil renewal levy on Nov. 4.
