EHOVE a great place to start

To the editor:

EHOVE Career Center has a .5 mil levy on the ballot in November. This .5 mil levy is a renewal so no new tax burden will be placed on the home owner. The maintenance of the facilities at EHOVE Career Center is a top priority because of all of the hands on learning experiences the students receive.

I am writing this letter from a professional perspective. I have taught in the Health Careers Program for 23 years at EHOVE Career Center and I have many great student success stories. Students who have started in the Health Careers Program have gone from nurse aids to licensed practical nurses to registered nurses. In health care facilities, many of my former students hold head nurse positions, department heads or have moved up to the director of nursing position.

EHOVE Career Center has served as a great place to start for many former graduates. In order for EHOVE to continue its fine quality education, I urge you to go out and vote for the .5 mil renewal levy so the great education that students receive at EHOVE Career Center may continue for future generations. Voting yes today is an investment in tomorrow's future.
