The Amherst Junior High School seventh grade boys basketball team lost against the Avon Lake Shoremen at home on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
Leading the Comet offense were Aaron Kelley with 15 points and Garrett Klekota with 5 points.

Lowry, Pittak 34th, 35th in state meet
Senior Kyle Lowry and sophomore Mikes Pittak tore up the Scioto Downs course at the State D-1 boys cross country meet Saturday in Columbus. In a field of the best 144 runners in Ohio, Kowry placed 33rd with a time of 16:16 with Pittak right on his heels at 16:17 for 35th place.

Twinsburg knocks Comets out of playoffs
