Theo's Grill closes doors
After about a six-month run, Theo's Grill & Bar on West McPherson Highway in the Discount Drugmart Plaza shut its doors this week.
A sign was posted in the door Tuesday noting the business would be closed until further notice.
"We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause," the sign read. It went on to thank patrons and the staff for their support and dedication.
No one answered the phone at the restaurant Tuesday afternoon.
Clydescope Economic Development Director David Danhoff said the closing was a shame.
"I heard through the grape vine," he said about the closing on Monday. "It was just verified today."
Danhoff said the business had not contacted Clydescope for any assistance. The economic development director added that the city needed the restaurant.
