MMS volleyball ends 7-9

On Oct. 18, the McPherson Middle School 8th grade Volleyball played at Margaretta High School in the Sandusky Bay Conference Tournament.

The Lady Fliers faced the Oak Harbor in their first match. They defeated the Rockets 25-18, 25-16. Top servers were Mackenzie Gittinger 9; Tori Rohrbach, 6 and Macy Gill, 4 points.

In the second match , the Lady Fliers faced top-ranked Margaretta. The girls lost 9-25, 25-20, 18-25. Top servers were Andrews, 6 and Gill, 5 points. Gittinger and Melissa Ware had 3 each. Britany Strickland, Cassidy Lehmann and Amber Wagner each had 2.

The team's final record was 7-9 .
