Outstanding seniors
BOWLING GREEN - Two graduates at Bowling Green State University have been named Outstanding Seniors in their respective academic programs within BGSU's College of Health and Human Services.
The $1,000 Advocates Board Scholarship was awarded to Joshua Garza, a senior in pre-physical therapy. Garza is a 2004 Clyde High School graduate and the son of Dante Garza, 2546 CR 181, and Karen Garza of Fremont.
Winning the Joseph K. and Virginia L. Balogh Scholarship, worth $600, was Julie Rader, a junior majoring in communication disorders. She is a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta freshman honor society.
The 2005 graduate of Clyde High School has also been active in BGSU's Dance Marathon for the Children's Miracle Network. Her parents are Marsha Rader, 2676 CR 195, and John Rader, 703 Vine St.
