Tanner Hisey

still at St. V's,

events set

The David Hisey family received news Monday that 10-year-old Tanner, diagnosed with ALL leukemia in August, is not in remission.

Previous reports noted the youth was in remission following a serious of chemotherapy treatments.

An MRD test and its results received Monday showed the Green Springs Student still has leukemia, according to his father, David Hisey.

The local boy is currently at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Toledo, his father said.

This week friends of the Hisey family are holding a chicken barbecue and benefit auction at Clyde High School beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday. Meal tickets are being presold at Miller's Super Valu and other locations.

For details of the event see an article on page 5 today.
