Tippin tickets still selling

Nearly 150 tickets have sold thus far for a fall concert by country music artist Aaron Tippin

The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27 at the Clyde High School auditorium and is sponsored by the Communities for the Arts.

Tippin will be releasing a new CD under his own label NIPPET Records entitled "He Believed" this summer. That song was written by Tippin and his wife, Thea, about his father who passed away a couple of years ago. The CD will also include his hit "There Ain't Nothin' Wrong With The Radio".

Aaron Tippin made his reputation with other hard-core performances such as "Working Man's PH.D", "You've Got To Stand For Something", and "Kiss This". Five of his albums became Gold Records and one went Platinum. In 1998 he scored back to back hits with "For You I will" and "I'm Leaving".

In 2002 Aaron went to Afghanistan and since then has made annual visits to our forces in Iraq.

Tickets for the Aaron Tippin concert are available now at the Clyde-Green Springs Board of Education office at 106 South Main St. or by calling 419-547-0588. All seats are reserved and tickets are $40. Credit cards will be accepted. For more details on Communities for the Arts go to this website: www.communitiesforthearts.org.
