Vargas, Dearsman marry

The College First Church of God in Findlay provided the setting for the Saturday, April 19, marriage of Echo L. Vargas and Brad A. Dearsman. Pastor Will Miller officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony.

Stephanie Hayward was the harpist and Will Windom and Missy Peters were the soloists.

The bride is the daughter of Ramiro (Ron) and Terri Vargas of Clyde. Parents of the bridegroom are Roger and Christine Dearsman of Clyde.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white Maggie Sottero gown that was strapless with a corset back. It was a taffeta gown that featured elegant detailed beading and embroidery on the bodice. The full upskirt was embellished with beaded motifs. Her veil was white and had similar beading and embroidery matching her dress. She carried a large clutch bouquet containing sunflowers, orange lilies, pink gerber daisies and white stephanotis.

Missy Peters, North Arlington, Va., friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. She wore a tropic blue strapless, tea-length dress made of taffeta with a white ribbon sash and broach to accent the waistline. She carried a small clutch bouquet that matched the bride's.

Bridesmaids included Yolanda (Lollie) Vargas, Clyde, sister of the bride; Lyndi Woods, Bowling Green, friend of the bride; and Kendra Kohning, Lakeland, Fla., friend of the bride. They were all dressed identically to the maid of honor.

Flower girl was Anna Grace Leszkowicz, Findlay, a friend of the bride. Ring bearer was Lance Laughlin, Clyde, nephew of the bride.

The best man was Doug Meyer, Clyde, friend of the groom.

Groomsmen were Michael Woods, Bowling Green, friend of the groom; Brad Cuotis, Van Wert, friend of the groom; and Jonathan Jakubowski, Rossford, friend of the groom. Ushers were Seth Stockmaster, Clyde, nephew of the bride; and Pedro Bazaldua, Harlingen, Texas, cousin of the bride.

A reception was held at Camden Falls in Tiffin for 250 guests.

Following their honeymoon trip of a seven day Southern Caribbean Cruise and Puerto Rico and three days in San Juan, the couple will be residing in Perrysburg.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Clyde High School and a 2007 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a bachelor of technology in visual communications. She is employed at Tracy Creek Apartments as a leasing agent in Perrysburg and JP Photography as a portrait photographer in Millbury.

The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Clyde High School, and a 2007 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a bachelor of science in business administration in finance. He is employed at Huntington Bank as a personal baker in Findlay.
