Daniel R. Meyer

Daniel R. Meyer, 63, Clyde, died Thursday, July 10, 2008, at the St. Vincent Heart and Vascular Center in Toledo.

He was born Nov. 14, 1944 in Fremont, the son of Carl and Elsa (Swedersky) Meyer. He married Barbara Tea on Nov. 26, 1966.

He attended Ross High School and for 43 years worked for the City of Fremont in the Parks Department, where he was still employed. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clyde, the Clyde Eagles, and the ASCM union.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Betsy Meyer of Medina and Sara (Keith) Morman of Fremont; a son, Todd Meyer of Clyde; and a brother, Ron Meyer of Fremont.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Carol Comenski; and a brother, Glenn Meyer.

Visitation was Monday, July 14, at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 15, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Gerry Gosnell officiating. Burial was in Bakertown Cemetery.
