C. Arlene Hemminger

C. Arlene Hemminger, 77, Republic, died Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the University of Toledo Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 11, 1930 in Seneca County, the daughter of Wallace S. and Ethel N. (Weiker) Needham.

She retired from St. Francis Health Care Centre in Green Springs as an LPN. She was a 1948 graduate of Green Springs High School.

Survivors include her children, Lyman (Susan) Hemminger Jr. of Republic, Angela Rodabaugh of Columbus, Colleen Hemminger of Johnston and Diane (Steven) Egbert of Findlay; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Phyllis (Paul) Smith of Fremont.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a granddaughter.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 24, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home in Green Springs. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 24, at 11 a.m., at the Green Springs Cemetery with Pastor Debbie Smith officiating.
