Richard E. Blaha
Richard "Bud" Eugene Blaha, 75, Tiffin, died Thursday, July 17, 2008 at his residence.
He was born Feb. 1, 1933 in New London, the son of John and Harriett (Searl) Blaha. He married Judy (Krauss) Blaha on Sept. 25, 1999.
He retired from Whirlpool in 1993 after 33 years. He was a member of the Christ Church in Tiffin, a member of the Tiffin Moose Lodge, the Tiffin Elks club, and the Founder and CEO of the Aggravation Association.
Survivors include his wife, Judy; his three step-daughters, Robin Hade of Fremont, Kathy Hunt of Green Springs, and Shelly Brickner of Fairfield; six step-grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara Thompson of Daphne, Ala., Nancy (Earl) Stone of Mobile, Ala. and Mary (Bob) Sitterly of Monroeville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation was Monday, July 21, at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home in Tiffin.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 22, at 11 a.m., at the Christ Church in Tiffin with Pastor Terry Jones officiating. Burial will be in the McPherson Cemetery in Clyde at a later date.
