Kade L. Sumner
Kade Lee Sumner, six months old, Clyde, died Sunday, June 29, 2008, at The Bellevue Hospital.
He was born Dec. 17, 2007 in Fremont, the son of Leon L. and Christy (Gilbert) Sumner.
Survivors include his parents; a sister, Danielle Sumner; grandparents, Doug and Shelia Gilbert of Vickery and Leon and Pamela Sumner of Clyde; great-grandparents, Elmer Yates of Fremont, Richard and Ruth Milleson of Lindsey and Leon Sumner of Clyde.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service on Thursday, July 3, at noon, at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., with Rev. Kevin Pinkerton officiating. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery.

Vera Eberhard
Vera Eberhard, 81, of Clyde, died at the Countryside Continuing Care Center, Fremont, on Tuesday, July 1, 2008.
She was born on Jan. 31, 1927 in Bellevue to Roy M. and Anna M. (Mackling) Eberhard.
She was a member of the 1945 graduating class of Thompson High School and St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clyde and the Clyde Senior Center.
She had worked at the Akron Candy Co; the former Zieners Packing Co., in Bellevue and retired from the Countryside Continuing Care Center.
Survivors include two nephews: Eugene L. (Nancy) Mills of Fremont; William (Susan) Mills of Vermilion.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Albert Eberhard in 1955; and a sister, Eva L. Mills in 1990.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 3, 2008 from 9 a.m. until the service at 10 a.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Forest Street, with the Rev. Gerry Gosnell officiating. Burial will be in the Bellevue Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the St. Paul Lutheran Church Kitchen.

Jerry A. Kiesel
Jerry A. Kiesel, 73, Green Springs, died Sunday, June 22, 2008 at his residence.
He was born Nov. 19, 1934 in Tiffin, the son of Frederick C. and Betty L. (Haudenshild) Kiesel. He married Rose Marie Dysert on Oct. 27, 1961.
He was a retired accountant and a member of the Tiffin AmVets, Eagles, American Legion, and the DAV. He was a 1952 graduate of Green Springs High School and also a graduate of Ashland University. He was a United States Army veteran.
Survivors include his daughter, Rhonda VanFleet of Fremont, two sons, Todd Kiesel both of Green Springs, and Troy Kiesel of Fremont; four grandchildren; sisters, June Nycum of Green Springs, Mimi Foos of Clyde, Linda Hayman of Green Springs, Judy Hoker of Upper Sandusky Sharon Lynch of Fort Seneca, Terry Cramer of Bucyrus, Carol Springer of Fremont and Kathleen Weaver of Chesterhill; and two brothers, Tom Kiesel of Tiffin and Dave Kiesel of Attica.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a grandchild.
Visitation was held two hours prior to funeral services on Thursday, June 26, at 6 p.m., at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home in Green Springs with Rev. William Wiswell officiating. There were military honor's rendered at 7:30 p.m., at the Tiffin AmVets by the United Veterans Council.
There will be no burial held at this time.
Dan R. Moran
Dan R. Moran, 65, Fremont, died Friday, June 27, 2008 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
He was born Feb. 6, 1943 in Fremont, the son of Virgil and Louise (Gray) Moran. He married Barbara McClory on June 26, 1965.
He graduated from Fremont Ross in 1961. He attended Tiffin University, The Ohio State University and Bowling Green State University. He was a supervisor at the Whirlpool Corporation, Clyde Division for 37 years until his retirement in 1999. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Fremont and the Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his wife Barbara; his children, Shay Moran of Dayton, Shannon (Dan) Hajec of Nashville, Tenn. and Shane (Amy) Moran of Columbus; five grandchildren; and a half-sister, Phyllis Jean Moran of West Branch, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a half-brother, Jim Ward.
Visitation was Tuesday, July 1, at Keller-Ochs-Koch Funeral Home, Fremont.
Funeral services will be held (today) Wednesday, July 2, at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Lucille V. Miarer
Lucille V. Miarer, 94, Green Springs, previously of Fremont, died Sunday, June 29, 2008 at Elmwood Nursing Home in Green Springs.
She was born Jan. 22, 1914 in Toledo, the daughter of George and Flossie (Dunham) Messer. She married Earl Miarer on Nov. 29, 1934 and he preceded her in death on May 8, 1997.
She graduated from Scott High School in Toledo and attended the Robinwood Nursing School. She was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church and the Farm Bureau. She was a volunteer at Memorial Hospital for 30 years and worked on the election board.
Survivors include her triplet daughters, Jane (Alan) Swanson of Little River, S.C., Jean Oswald of Toledo and Joan (Ben) Lehmann of Kansas; her son, David (Anna) Miarer of Fremont; six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl; and brother, Ralph Messer.
A graveside service will be held (today) Wednesday, July 2, at 1:30 p.m., at Four Mile House Cemetery with Pastor Bob Young officiating.
