Letter Policy
The Clyde Enterprise welcomes letters from our readers.
Letters may be mailed to PO Box 29, Clyde OH 43410 or e-mailed to clydenews@bizwoh.rr.com.
To be published, letters should follow the criteria below:
1. All letters must contain the complete name, address and telephone number of its writer. The writer's name and community will be published. The writer's telephone number is used for verification only.
2. Letters from groups or organizations also must have verification information for each signature. The newspaper will use its discretion as to how many names will be listed in print.
3. Letters should be 500 words or less and typed or printed neatly. Handwritten letters which are not legible will not be printed.
4. Letters concerning a resident's service to the community or to another local resident may be submitted. The Clyde Enterprise will not accept letters thanking a list of sponsors or listing those giving donations as a Letter to the Editor. These type of "Thank You" listings are handled as advertisements.
5. Form letters generated by national or regionally organizations will generally not be printed.
6. The Clyde Enterprise will not knowingly print letters which are libelous or clearly prejudiced against a race, religion or group.
7. The newspaper reserves the right not to print any letter.
