Schools still need support

With the current investigation into "irregularities" in the finances of the Clyde-Green Springs school superintendent's office, we have to emphasize not to throw the baby out with the bath water.

The situation may give the community and school district a black eye for a time, but we've had them before and survived quite well.

The four new Ohio School Facility Commission school building projects are moving forward, work is progressing at the high school stadium and there is a waiting list of students who want to attend our district through open enrollment.

It will take patience from the community while local police complete their investigation.

We cannot predict the outcome of the investigation. But, we encourage the community not to allow apprehension or disdain to take away from their support of our students and the projects that will provide them with a meaningful educational experience.
