She and her Little Sister, Angel Boninsega, have been matched for four years and have developed a close "sister like" relationship.
This last year they encountered some life changing experiences.
In March 2007 Angel was diagnosed with cancer. Through the year, Angel would fight many cancer battles and through it all everyone pulled together and remained upbeat, determined, and resilient. According to McCauley, being a Big Sister is one of the best roles of her life and a testimony to the power of volunteering and its benefits.
"Angel and I have our special times, our goofy times and our sad times," she said.
