Ladies stomp Tigers, smack down Redmen

The Lady Fliers had a big week of track and field as they defeated Huron 83-54 at home April 22 and Bellevue 86-50 on the road April 24.
You can catch the Lady Fliers in action May 2, at the Port Clinton Invitational or May 8 at the Perkins Relays.
Against Bellevue the Lady Fliers got individual wins from Ashley Alejandro in the 800 and 1600 meter runs and Bethany Aldrich in the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Venla Vayrynen in the long jump, Brittney Meek in the 100 meter hurdles, Taylor Ebert in the 3200 meter run and Heidi Bentley in the shot put. The Lady Fliers also won the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays.
Against Huron the Lady Fliers got individual wins from Jamie Hoppe in the 100 and 300 meter hurdles, Aldrich in the 100 and 200 meters and Bentley in the Shot and discus. D'Andrea Frey won the 400 meter dash and the 4x400 meter relay team also won.
