Boys defeat Huron, Bellevue

The Fliers had a big week of track and field as they defeated Huron 83-54 at home April 22 and Bellevue 86-50 on the road April 24.
You can catch the Fliers in action May 2, at the Port Clinton Invitational or May 8 at the Perkins Relays.
Against Huron Justin Cook won the 400 meter dash and the high jump again fresh off of setting the Clyde High School record (6'6.75") last week with a jump of 6 foot, 4 inches. Craig Gerber won the 1600 and 3200 meter runs. Kade Kramer won the 100 meter dash, Teddy Mason won the 110 meter hurdles, Ryan Scharf won the 300 meter hurdles, Aric Thurn won the 800 meter run, Kyle Birkholz won the long jump and Nick Roope won the pole vault. The Fliers also won the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 meter relays.
Against Bellevue Kramer won the 100 and 200 meter dashes and Cook won the high jump and 400 meter dash. Roope the pole vault, Thurn the 800 and Gerber the 3200 meter runs. The Fliers also won the 4x100, 4x200, 4x400 and 4x800 meter relays.
