Country Guys

& Gals

The Country Guys & Gals 4-H Club met March 29, at 9:30 a.m., at Jo Miarer's home.

Club members voted on officers for the year with the following results, president, Paul Williams; vice president, Emily Estep; secretary, Dominique Loparo; treasurer, Katlyn Miarer; reporter, Becca Fisher; health, Levi Dinan; safety, Cassie Miarer.

Mary Ruffing gave a review of the treasure report from last year on the clubs expenses. The club members discussed different ideas for fundraisers with the possibility of a candy sale or candle sale. Members who are talking live stock to the fair were reminded that they must attend a Quality Assurance Meeting either on April 16, May 20 or May 27. Levi Dinan passed his skillathon in Swine in 2007.

The meeting was adjourned by Levi Dinan and second by Cassie Miarer. The next meeting will be held April 12, at 9:30 a.m., at Jo Miarer's home.

Clovers 4-Ever

The Clovers 4-Ever 4-H Club met at 3 p.m. March 30 at the Townsend Ruritan building in Vickery.

The club held its annual Parents Dinner. The pledges were recited. President Nicole Chestner welcomed guests.

There was a Mardi Gras theme. There were beads, and masks for the parents and members.

Member Ashly Fleming won the door prize. The club played 4-H Charades with parents and other games

The next meeting will be 1:30 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26 at the Brooks' house.
