Ruth A. Ross

Ruth A. Ross, 65, Green Springs, died Friday, May 02, 2008 at The Bellevue Hospital in Bellevue.

She was born Jan. 8, 1943 in Springfield, the daughter of Virgil Huston Miller, Jr. and Sylvia (Strausbaugh) Miller. She married Larry L. Ross, Sr. on May 7, 1960.

She attended Green Springs School. She worked at Singer, Atlas, and retired from Chuck's Lawn Care.

Survivors include her husband, Larry; her sons, Larry (Darlene) Ross Jr. of Milwaukee, Wis. and Mark A. Ross of Green Springs; a granddaughter; and brothers, Robert (Nancy) Miller and Virgil "Hank" (RuthAnn) Miller, both of Fremont.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Ken Miller, Ed Miller, Wilma Ginnever and Don Miller.

Visitation was Sunday, May 4, at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St.

Funeral services were Monday, May 5, at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial was in the Green Springs Cemetery.
