John W. Meese, Jr.
John W. Meese, Jr., 64, Clyde, died Sunday, April 20, 2008 at the Veteran Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich.
He was born Aug. 5, 1943 in Dover, the son of John W. Sr. and Ruth (Senter) Meese. He married Donna Jean Forthofer on Feb. 23, 1963.
He graduated from Dover High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and the Viet Nam War. He was a member of the Clyde VFW and the BMW Motorcycle Club of Toledo. He retired from the Chemitrol Company and had previously worked at Yoder in West Lake, Metro Life, Ridge Tool, the Ohio State Patrol, Paul Hite Ford, Bill Graham Ford, Paul McGee Ford and Green Bay Packaging.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Jean; a daughter, Lorie Rinehart of Bucyrus; two sons, Darin Meese and Dean Meese, both of Clyde; a granddaughter; and a brother, Karl Victor Meese, of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Brian Meese.
Services will be held at a later date.
