Doris L. Daniel

Doris L. Daniel, 85, Fairlawn, Ohio, formerly of Bellevue, died Sunday, April 20, 2008 at the Hospice of Visiting Nurses in Fairlawn.

She was born Dec. 21, 1922 in Clyde, the daughter of Harold and Florence (Payne) Coe. She married Richard Daniel on Jan. 6, 1949 and he preceded her in death on May 10, 2003.

She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and had been a homemaker.

Survivors include her children, Dr. James H. Daniel of Los Angeles, Calif., John Daniel of Cincinnati, Dr. Ellen (Dr. Jeff) Kempf of Fairlawn and Eileen Spencer of Columbus; three grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Coe of Vickery.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; and siblings, Robert Coe, Ernest "Bud" Coe, Keith Coe, Curt Coe, Betty Raifsnider and Ruth Bernard.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 24, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St. in Bellevue. The rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m., at the funeral home.

A funeral mass will be held Friday, April 25, at 11 a.m., at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. John Miceli officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Bellevue.
