Doebel's

seeds
As part of its continuing efforts to promote vegetable gardening as a low-cost alternative to high food prices, Doebel's Flowers has donated $860 worth of vegetable gardening coupons to WSOS for distribution to needy families in Sandusky County. The coupons can be turned in for $10 worth of vegetable seeds or plants at Doebel's Flowers.
"Ten dollars worth of vegetable seeds and plants will produce well over one hundred dollars worth of nutritious food," said Clifford Doebel, owner of Doebel's Flowers. "We hope the program is successful because, not only will it help fight high food costs, it will, hopefully, encourage families to spend time together."
Joanne Huntley of WSOS will distribute the coupons to those families best able to put them to use.
