Best Mom: Hugs you in times of need

What is a mom?

Well, just think of all they do.

Cooking your favorite meals 3 times a day, being there for you in every single way.

Hugging you in a time of need, buying the most expensive saxophone reed.

Crawling into her bed at the first sign of thunder, all her surprises can really make you wonder.

She'll drive you to practice so you're not late, but don't plan on going on that first date.

Riding in the car when you're learning stick shift, when there's heavy drywall she'll help you lift.

She's the first to cry when you leave town, yeah I'll never fit into her wedding gown.

So when my friends are around I might not say it to you, but Mom, I really do love you too.

My mom is the best. She's special to me, I love my mom, in my heart she'll always be.
