Beading workshop

Christine Bowlus, a Clyde native now living in Burgoon, will teach a Beaded Bracelet and Earring Workshop at the Clyde Public Library on Saturday, May 3, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. All materials will be provided, including a choice of beads and finding to work with. Cost is $15 per person and cash payment must be made when placing reservations. Reservations are required as space is limited to 12. For more information, please call 419-547-7174.

Story Time

A rabbit was munching on vegetables in a garden where a little boy is harvesting the rewards of his labor. Preschoolers colored a paper bag puppet of the gardener to take home.

The books shared were: Come Into My Garden by Cynthia Rothman. A little boy is harvesting vegetables from his garden and sharing some with a friendly rabbit.

Good Morning, Garden by Barbara Brenner. Upon entering a garden one morning a child greets the flowers, plants, insects, and animals living there.

What Does Bunny See? by Linda Sue Park. A rabbit wanders through the various flowers and colors of a cottage garden.

Music leader was Megan Gahn. The Clyde Public Library offers Story Time every week in two sessions. Story Time sessions are on Tuesday 6:30 to 7 p.m. and Wednesday 11 to 11:30 a.m. Children must be two and a half to five years old. Clyde Public Library
