Del Debo was kicked by a colt and had his right leg badly injured. Frank Keller was breaking a colt to a plow on the Debo farm when the animal ran away. Mr. Debo caught the colt and was unhitching it when the accident occurred.
Mrs. Eliza Brady broke a bone in her right foot when she fell from a ladder. Dr. Beck was called and dressed the injury.

The dedication of the new St. Paul's Lutheran Church was held Sunday, March 25, with two sermons, one in English and one in German. Mrs. Mary Wott, the only living charter member of the church, attended the ceremonies.

William Witsaman observed his 95th anniversary and received many cards and remembrances from Clyde friends and neighbors. He was the last surviving Civil War veteran in Clyde Village.

Merrill "Cowboy" Scheerer was bitten on the hand by a dog that had gone to school and which Cowboy was trying to persuade to leave.
Supt. R.E. Fox reported that 25 percent of the local elementary school children were absent because of a measles epidemic.

The Rural Serv elevator at Vickery was leveled by fire.

Winesburg Inn hired Steven H. Bryant II, one of the top ten chefs in the nation, as executive chef. Construction of a $3 3/4 million hotel and banquet room addition to the Winesburg Inn was to begin in late summer or early fall.

Clyde Business and Professional Association selected Art Fiser as the recipient of the tenth annual "Outstanding Service to Our Community Award".

McPherson Middle School teacher Bill Young is one of three educators in the Northwest Region who the Ohio School Board Association considered for Teacher of the Year. Young was recognized on March 15 in Bowling Green at the annual Spring Conference for the OSBA Northwest Region.
City Manager Dan Weaver will compile a policy concerning indigent burials following council's suggestions at a Tuesday night work session. Four council members met with Melinda Auxter of Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home and Kevin Mason from Foos-Klein Funeral Home for input on burial costs.
