Rd. 302 resulted in U.S. 20 being closed to traffic for over eight hours Thursday. Early reports indicate the driver of the car in the top left photo, struck the rear of the pick-up truck in the top right photo at the stop light at Co. Rd. 302. The impact apparently knocked the truck's driver unconscious and the vehicle continued eastbound before crossing north of the roadway and striking a utility pole. The utility lines running across W. Main St., sagged due to the broken pole and a westbound tractor-trailer caught the wires, bringing them down. Area electric, phone, cable crews were on scene throughout the day repairing the damage. The identity of the drivers involved were not available from Bellevue Police as of Friday morning's press time.
