Couple says vows
Mr. and Mrs. Elwell J. Oakleaf, Green Springs, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. McGuire, Bellevue, are announcing the recent marriage of their daughter, Kathleen, to Joel S. Morris, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde J. Morris of Sherrills Ford, N.C.
The couple was married Feb. 14, 2008, in a Valentine's Day ceremony held at the Newton County (Va.) Courthouse along with 22 other couples. The Rev. Stuart Noell, pastor of Hickory United Methodist Church, officiated the service.
The couple is residing at 7412 Gabriel St., Sherrills Ford, N.C. 28673.
