Robert Waskielis, 38, Bellevue, was cited for failure to control his vehicle after he took out several maiboxes and a sign on Saturday in York Township.
The 11:30 a.m. crash occurred on Co. Rd. 264. According to reports from the Sandusky County Sheriff's Office, Waskielis was driving when his left, rear tire blew out and he went off the east side of the road, striking three mailboxes and a street sign.
The mailboxes were valued at $150 each and the sign, $100.
