An Erie County Grand Jury recently indicated the following:

Mark E. Kays, 46, 400 block of Hill Ave., Clyde, on three counts of non-support of dependents.

Bobby E. Hupp, 29, 6700 block Skadden Road, Castalia, on receiving stolen property.

Amanda R. Folk, 27, 1700 block St. Rt. 270, Clyde, theft.

Joseph D. McClellan, 32, first block Surrey Court, Monroeville, two counts of violation of protection order.

An indictment is a formal charge and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

The Erie County Sheriff's Office charged David M. Keegan, 40, 7200 block of St. Rt. 101, Clyde, and Justin Liskai, 18, 100 block of Friedley Ave., Bellevue, with speed on June 9.

A resident in the 9700 block of Co. Rd. 24, Republic, reported to the Bellevue Police Department on June 8, their car was vandalized while parked in the city parking lot on N. Sandusky St.

A Bellevue resident informed the police department on June 11, someone had been throwing paint off the top of the subway.

An employee of St. Paul's Day Care, 428 Kilbourne St., reported to Bellevue Police on June 12, there had been a break-in on June 12.

Jason M. Wiswell, 27, 1207 Hamilton St., Bellevue, obstructing official business. Dismissed. Pay court costs.

Norman J. Zellers, 60, 5740 U.S. 6, Vickery, reckless operation. Second conviction. Jail: 10 days, with seven suspended. To complete three-day driver intervention program in lieu of jail. Fine: $250. Non-reporting probation: one year. License suspended: two months.

FREMONT -- A Clyde man recently pleaded guilty to a count of attempted domestic in Sandusky County Common Pleas Court.

Daren Perkins, 29, will be sentenced by Judge Harry Sargeant Jr. at a later date and could face up to a year in prison for the fifth degree felony charge. He could also face a $2,500 fine and restitution to the victim.

As part of a plea deal, one count of domestic violence will be dropped. Perkins was previously convicted of domestic violence in April 2004 and according to court records, in April, Perkins got into a domestic dispute and attempted to harm another family member in Clyde.

Norfolk Southern was cited on June 12, by Bellevue Police, for blocking the crossing at Flat Rock Rd.

A church in the 700 block of Kilbourne St., reported to Bellevue Police on June 12, someone had broken into the building and took money which was in a safe.
