A Green Creek Township resident reported on May 28, their riding lawn mower was stolen from their front yard. The theft occurred sometime between Memorial Day and May 27, according to the complainant. The mower is black and yellow and valued at $300.

A Monroeville man recently pleaded guilty to theft in Sandusky County Common Pleas Court.
Shane Danielson, 19, who appeared in front of Judge Harry Sargeant Jr., faces a year in prison and a fine of up to $2,500 as well as restitution to the victims.
As part of his plea deal, a remaining third-degree felony burglary charge was dropped.
According to records, in March Danielson broke into a residence in Bellevue and stole nearly 100 video games, an X-box game system and a Play Station game. He later turned in the stolen goods at a Bellevue store and received more than $500 for the items. The theft charge is a fifth degree felony.

A resident in the 100 block of Huffman St., reported to Bellevue Police on May 28, someone had stolen a pressure washer from their garage.
