Joyce E. Goodsite, 80, of Bellevue, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008, at the home of her son in Bellevue.

She was born June 30, 1928, in Oak Harbor, Ohio, the daughter of Elroy and Esther (Hillman) Meng.

She was a retired accounting clerk for General Electric and most recently was employed at Elder-Beerman Store in Sandusky. Joyce was a member of The Chapel, Sandusky, and formerly of the Bellevue Assembly of God. She loved her children and grandchildren and devoted much of her time to them. She married Robert Goodsite on Sept. 3, 1956, in Immaculate Conception Church, Bellevue.

She is survived by three sons, Richard M. (Jackie) Goodsite, Thomas A. (Cyndi) Goodsite, both of Bellevue, and David P. Goodsite, of Sandusky; a daughter, Mrs. Roberta M. (Randy) Lehrer, of Huron; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joan Miller, of Jeffersonville, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Donald Meng; and sisters, Dorothy Schroeder and Margie Kilmer.

Friends will be received on Thursday, Nov. 13, from 2-8 p.m. at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Bellevue Assembly of God Church, 770 Kilbourne St., Bellevue, with the Rev. Mark Meyers of Stirring the Fire Ministries, officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery.
