David A. Anderson

March 3, 1948 - July 1, 2008

ATTICA -- David A. Anderson, age 60, of North Main Street, Attica, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center, Norwalk.

He was born March 3, 1948, in Sandusky, the son of the late Nelson and Ida Mae (Hoelzer) Anderson.

He was employed for 36 years at Mayflower CVG in Norwalk and was a U.S. Air force veteran. David was a member of Our Lady of Hope Church, Attica, where he was active as a greeter, lector and on the hospitality committee. He was a 1961 graduate of St. Mary's High School in Sandusky.

Survivors include his wife, Clarice (Hay) Anderson, who he married Sept. 12, 1980, in Norwalk; his son, Stephen (Maki) Anderson, of Huron; daughters, Stephanie Anderson, of Columbus, and Samantha Anderson, of Attica; grandson, Syou Anderson, of Huron; a brother, John Anderson, of Sandusky; and his sister, Patty Sartor, of Sandusky.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers.

A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, July 19, at Our Lady of Hope Church, 14204 E. Co. Rd.. 56, Attica, at 10 am. Private burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
