Thankful for fire department help

To the editor:

I would like to thank the Bellevue Fire Department for their amazing response time when my house was struck by lightning Monday night. Without them, I would not be sitting here writing this letter today.

I would also like to thank Jiggs Barr and Newt Daiello for taking that extra step to ensure my safety.

Thanks also to my co-workers and all my neighbors for their help and concern.

This just proves to me that Bellevue is full of good people with big hearts.
