Cramers observed
Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Cramer, Ohio 269, Bellevue, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sunday, June 8.
Mr. Cramer and the former Pauline Frances Kimble were married June 8, 1948, in Iola, Kansas, when he was 20 and she 17. The two met when Wilmer went overseas to served in World War II for three years; his brother gave Pauline his address and they began exchanging letters. Upon his return to the USA, Wilmer moved in with his brother in Pauline's hometown of Chanute, Kansas. They began dating and were married the following year.
In 1965, the couple moved their family of six to Ohio, building their home on Ohio 269 in 1970.
They are parents of four children, Dan (Diane) Cramer, Lane Cramer, Robert Cramer and Kathy Cramer. They also have seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
