MR. & MRS. ED ADAMS

Ed, Jan Adams mark 50th

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Adams, 8808 Ohio 269, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 15 with a party hosted by their children at Club Amer-Ital for over 100 guests.

Mr. Adams and the former Janice Bush were married June 14, 1958, in the former EUB Church at Mount Carmel, with the late Rev. William Smith officiating.

Attending the couple were Lucy Bush as matron of honor and bridesmaids, Patricia Paul Studer and Judy Henry. Junior bridesmaids were the bride's sisters, Norma Bush Boger and N. Kay Bush Keim. Janet Weaver Posteh, a cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

Lloyde Adams, the groom's brother, was best man; Robert Bush, brother of the bride, and Daniel Scharp were ushers. Junior ushers were Dennis Blair and Robert Nay, cousins. Daniel Bush, a nephew of the bride, was the ringbearer.

Parents of the couple were the late Everett Bey and Nellie Bush and the late Francis and Frances Adams.

Mr. and Mrs. Adams are parents of two children, Sherri (Gary) Denish, North Royalton, Ohio, and Ed B. (Jeanine) Adams, Bellevue. They have four grandchildren, Pamela Denish, Lily and Seth Adams, all of Bellevue, and a deceased infant, Rose.

Mr. Adams is retired from Central Soya and Mrs. Adams retired from Hogue's IGA after 24 years' service.

In lieu of gifts, guests brought non-perishable foodstuffs to the party on June 15. Over 700 pounds of items and over $400 were given to Fish and Loaves Emergency Food Pantry in Bellevue.

The family plans to take a weekend trip in the late fall.
